Hey there--
I have worked out a system that should allow me to buy your DAM CD, OR

Here's how it works:
I was researching information about online auctions recently, and came
across something that boggled my head. There is an email-based payment system
called Paypal that
charges nothing to use the service at all. You can use credit cards or send checks to Paypal,
then transfer money from your account to anybody who has an account, without any kind of service charge.
I thought that this sounded shady, so I checked it out further. There are references to Paypal
in the Wall Street Journal, and the parent company, now X.com (a publicly traded company) is partners
with Deutsche Bank (one of the largest banks in the world) and Nokia, maker of cell phones and portable electronics.
This all is good and fine, but here is how I figured it to be useful to the MP3.com community:
The really COOL thing is that new accounts receive a $5 account bonus for signing up, PLUS you get $5 for every referral
that you give on new accounts.
Hmmm...
So here is how we can make out with this system....It is obvious from the start that you can be a new account only once, but the referral thing is what really excites me.
IF you are not a current Paypal Account holder, and IF you qualify to open a Paypal account (follow the links to see terms and conditions), Then you can sign up for Paypal through my link, and I will buy your CD (that is, a CD whose price does not excede $7.50, more on that later), or send you LunaGroova's CD (either "Express Your Highways" or "Grooves of the Moon", you pick).
It's really pretty simple. And while nobody's going to get rich doing this, it is a simple opportunity to sell one of your CD's or get one of LunaGroova's Super cool Cd's without really paying a cent. And, as always, if you sell one of your CDs, you know that you get the commission PLUS more page views, (and they pay PayBack money).
Okay, so all of this is spinning around in your head. Let's set up an example of how the whole process will work.
The Process
First, you follow the Paypal Link, like this one:
Go to Paypal, search the site, learn about it, MAKE SURE you qualify, then sign
up for Paypal. This will give you an account with $5 credit for doing so. You will not be charged anything at all,
nor will you be required to do anything else with Paypal. You could even decide at this point to not
go through with this plan any further. The $5 will belong to you, and you can have Paypal cut you a check for that amount
or deposit the amount in your bank account.
To Sell your CD
If you want me to buy your CD, sign up for Paypal through one of the links on this page. Then, send the $5 sign-up bonus, through Paypal, to my email ([email protected]). Finally, send me an email telling me your name and a link to your site. Also, tell me which CD you want me to buy.
PLEASE NOTE: The price of the CD you want me to buy must be $7.50 or less. This is because $7.50 plus shipping of $2.50 obviously costs $10 all together.
With your $5 credit sent to me, and my $5 referral from your account, I can afford to do this. Once you send the $5 credit and the email with your name and link, I will order your CD. If either part of the process is incomplete, I will send you email for clarification of the situation.
If we work this out, then everybody involved will gain fron the situation, thanks to Paypal.

Follow a Paypal link on this page and sign up for the service. You will not be charged, nor will you be obligated to use Paypal any further.
Then, through Paypal, send the $5 bonus credit you get for signing up to my email address, [email protected], and send me an email with your name and mailing address. I will send you confirmation, then have a LunaGroova CD shipped directly from MP3.com to you.

Finally...
I am not doing this to get rich quick or anything. I figured it would be a good way for some of us to move a CD, get a CD, or make a few bucks.

I have used Paypal before, and I can assure you that it is 100% legitimate. Paypal is commonly used with online auctions for payments, and the company is trying to gain exposure, just like all of us.
